This resource is a worldwide online community of users who share a love for words, wordplay, language, and literature. An electronic publication, A Word A Day (AWAD) provides a vocabulary word, its definition, pronunciation information with audio clip, etymology, usage example, quotation, and other interesting tidbits about words to subscribers every day.
