I understand that ORC will focus on the use of the ORC and Thinkfinity but they will vary in scope and depth depending on length and purpose.
I understand that ORC Ambassadors have been trained to provide the following services to districts:
  • to present a short overview of ORC and Thinkfinity
  • to present a longer session with in-depth content in the Ambassadors' area of expertise
  • to conduct interactive lab workshops of varying lengths
I understand that ORC ambassadors are not employed by ORC. Districts or schools will contract with an Ambassador directly.
I understand that districts are expected to pay the Ambassador directly and to provide reasonable reimbursement for expenses incurred by the Ambassador. Expenses include mileage and possibly a hotel and meal.
Suggested rate for one day of professional development: $600
Suggested rate for a half day of professional development: $300
Suggested rate for short overview (1-2 hours): $100-$200
Note: This suggested fee schedule represents a range of recommended fees for standard workshops and presentations. These fees are suggestions subject to change based on negotiations between district personnel and the Ambassador.
Ambassadors who provide professional development in their own districts will follow district policy.
