Technology Used to Teach Preservice Mathematics Teachers
This article describes the effective use of technology as a tool to facilitate
making conjectures, exploring, making connections, using representation, and
problem solving; and to model instructional strategies necessary for our
students to learn. Technologies mentioned in the article include graphing
calculators, computer spreadsheets, Calculator-Based Laboratories© (CBLs)

Effective and
Appropriate Uses of Educational Technology in Science Classrooms
This article addresses the use of digital images in science instruction.
Through the Internet teachers have access to countless images, illustrations,
and other representations of scientific content for classroom use. These
resources, when used with words and text enhance student learning. In addition
to Internet resources student created digital images are useful for gathering,
analyzing, and communicating data. The article includes examples and cites
related research.
