Using Constructed Response Questions to Foster Student Thinking, Writing, and Test-Taking Skills


In this webcast, different types of constructed response question items, and the role of writing in preparing students for these types of items, will be explored. Specific instructional strategies for working with students to write better answers will be central to the discussion. Webcast participants will have an opportunity to "chat with the experts" by submitting questions during the live webcast. Audience: Intermediate and middle school English language arts and reading teachers (grades 5-7), curriculum directors, literacy specialists/coaches, and other leaders in language arts education.
