About Tutorials for High School Mathematics
Tutorials for High School Mathematics was created with funding
from the Ralph Regula School of Computational
Science. Developed by the Ohio Resource Center (ORC), the project
consists of twenty-six online tutorials about basic high school mathematics
topics fundamental to student success in post-secondary science and
mathematics studies. The student-friendly tutorials focus on mathematical
procedures and are designed to review topics previously learned by the
student. The central component of each tutorial is a video presentation in
which an Ohio teacher reviews the mathematical procedure and demonstrates the
solution of examples and applications. Each tutorial also offers a set of
problems for the student to work (solutions included), a printable copy of
the video presentation, and a list of additional online resources for further
study. Tutorials for High School Mathematics is available at no
cost on the ORC website.
