PROFESSIONAL COMMENTARY

Using the text Behind the Mask as a springboard, students are introduced to prepositions through a fun and engaging activity. After reading the text, students continue to play with prepositions in a poetry format. Through ReadWriteThink's interactive, Word Mover, students create "magnetic" word tiles and manipulate the prepositions into an unusual form of poetry. Computers with internet access are needed to complete this lesson. (Author/ncl)
