This site is the official site of the current UFW. Included on this site is both the history of the organization as well as the current activities the group is involved in. This site gives a teacher the ability to tie in the history of the organization with current events and to show that the organization still functions today. For a history class, the Research Tab will be the most helpful and information that can be found in this tab includes the history and timeline of the UFW, a biography of Cesar Chavez, photos, and video and audio clips. This website is easy to navigate and you can easily change the text size on the site or even switch to reading the content in Spanish. In a classroom that does not have internet access; many materials can be printed out for classroom use. This website can not only be utilized by teachers to access content to present in class, or by students researching the UFW.
