Reaction Time 2: Zap!
Promising Practice
PROFESSIONAL COMMENTARY

In this best practice lesson students test their visual and auditory abilities (both separately and together) as they play an online game and record their reaction times. This lesson could be used to model data collection, representation, and analysis. The lesson includes a student E-Sheet that links to the online game and allows students to answer culminating questions, a data collection sheet, and an “Understanding What You Learned” student sheet.

This lesson is the second in a two-part series of lessons. To learn more about the first lesson, “Reaction Time,” see ORC #542. (author/ts)
