Developed by the Arkansas Science Teachers Association, this site provides common safety recommendations for school laboratories. Links to lists of standard equipment for elementary and secondary schools and link to a pdf download for the Council of State Science Supervisors document are provided.

This site links to a downloadable PDF safety guide about science laboratory safety at the secondary level. Included in the document is a general science-safety check list to copy and use. The safety guide may be particularly beneficial to teachers in career fields with a lab component such as Agricultural & Environmental Systems, Engineering & Science Technologies, and Health Science.
