A book originally published in 1971 by Random House, this professional development site is set up to be downloaded in four separate pdf files which correspond directly to the four major parts of the book. Clicking on any one of the sections--Part One: Elements of Instruction; Part Two: Teaching Literature; Part Three: Language; or Part Four: Composition--downloads all the chapters included within that section. Sections, because they are such large files, can take time to download, and once downloaded, need to be rotated for ease of reading. This can be done by moving the mouse over the text and right-clicking it to open the "Open with Preview" bar. Once this bar is opened, the "View" feature in the toolbar will provide options for rotating the text. (author/bebrown)
