This site briefly examines question-answer relationships in order to help educators facilitate the question-answer response in their classroom. Several key areas of question-answer relationships are addressed: (1) the definition of a question-answer relationship; (2) an explanation of the four QARs ("right there," "think and search," "author and you," and "on my own"); (3) a sample, download and print version of a QAR graphic organizer; (4) a download and print version of a QAR concept map; and (5) an example of what this question-answer relationship looks like in practice.
